The Las Angles Lakers are a professional basketball team that play in the NBA (national basketball association). They play there home games at the Staples Center. The Las Angles Lakers have one of the most successful histories and have won 16 NBA championships.

The Las Angles Lakers have had a huge amount of superstars play for them in the past. these players are Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain four time MVP award winner, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 6 time MVP award winner, Magic Johnson three time MVP award winner, Shaquille O'Neil a MVP award winner and kobe Bryant a MVP award winner.


The team currently isn't that strong this season but still has Las Angles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant still playing for the team.

Chicago Bulls Geography

The Chicago Bulls are a professional basketball team that play in the national basketball association (NBA). they are based in Chicago, Illinois. They play their home games in the United Center also known as the madhouse.


In the 1990's the Chicago Bulls are known for having one of the best teams in the NBA. This team contained superstar and 5 time most valuable player of the year award (MVP) Michael Jordan, NBA hall of famer Scottie Pippen and superstar coach Phil Jackson. This team won 6 NBA championships in 8 years. The Chicago Bulls hold a record 72 wins in a single season which happened in the 1995-96 season they are the only ever team to win 70 matches in a season.


The Chicago Bulls are still a dangerous team in the NBA this season with Derrick Rose MVP award winner, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah.


Chicago is the third most populated city in the United States of America and the most populated city in the American Midwest. IT has 2700000 residents living there.

Geography of The Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder also known as the OKC are a professional basketball team that play in the NBA (national basketball association). They are based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They play there home matches in the Chesapeake Energy Arena.


The OKC have not bought or drafted any players of a high quality this year. The main players on there team are last years MVP award winner Kevin Durant, Stephen Adams from New Zealand and Russell Westbrook. They won the western conference regular season but were knocked out in the western conference finals of the playoffs.

Oklahoma City is the capital city of Oklahoma and the largest city in the state. Oklahoma is the 27th most populated state in America. It has a population of 1,390,835 residents. The average temperature in Oklahoma is 16.3 Degrees Celsius. The tallest building in Oklahoma is the Denvon Tower it is 844 feet (257meters) tall and contains 52 floors.  

Cleveland Cavaliers Geography

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

The Cleveland cavaliers are a professional basketball team that play in the nba. They are based in Cleveland, Ohio. They play there home matches at the Quicken Loans Arena. 

This season they have bought LeBron James former Cavs player and also four time mvp award winner. They also bought Kevin Love a superstar from the Minnesota Timberwolves. They also have Kyrie Irving on their team. these three players are referred to as  the power trio. The Cavs are expected to do great things this season.

In the downtown area of Cleveland many of the governmental and civic buildings such as the Cleveland Public Library and The Public Auditorium are surrounded by a huge outdoor mall. All these buildings share the same architectural structure which is interesting because it isn't common in developed areas. buildings don't stand out as much when they contain the same architectural structure.

Miami Heat Geography

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat basketball team are based in Miami, Florida. they play there home games in the American airlines arena which is situated in Downtown Miami. This area of Miami is actually quite dull and has many homeless people so the stadium is symbol of hope


As most of you will probably know the Miami Heat have lost there four time most valuable player of the year LeBron James. He moved to the Cleveland cavaliers. The team will now have to be reliant on Dwyane wade and Chris bosh who are 32 and 30 years of age which is not who you want to have to rely on in the dying moments of a close game.


Although the Miami Heat have won three league championships, five conference title and eleven division titles, I don't expect this impressive stream of victories to continue for the next few years.
